What Zoe stores in your browser, and why. In short: only what is needed to work.

Last updated 15 October 2026

Zoe uses only what is strictly necessary to sign you in and to remember your display choices. She does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies, and she does not track you across other sites. Because of that, there is no cookie banner to accept: nothing here is optional tracking.

Local storage

These stay in your browser and are not sent to us as cookies.

  • zoe-theme: your light, dark or system theme, so the page does not flash the wrong colours.
  • zoe-sidebar-width: the width you chose for the conversation list.

Your theme and sidebar width are also saved to your account, so they follow you to other devices. You can clear local storage in your browser at any time.

Changes

If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page. See also the privacy policy. Questions: zoe@zoeai.info.
